Denmark

The name of the National Flag of Denmark is 'Dannebrog' which means 'The Danish Cloth' in old Danish.

According to legend, the Dannebrog fell from heaven after a battle in Estonia at Lyndanisse on the 15th of June 1219. The last design modification occurred in 1625.
