Finland

The colours used in the National flag of Finland are said to represent the blue lakes and sky, and the white the snows of winter and the nights of the Finnish summer.

This flag, or Siniristilippu as it is known, was officially adopted on the 27th of May 1918, and was last modified on the 26th of May 1978.
