Honduras

The colour blue used in the National flag of the Republic of Honduras is symbolic for the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. The stars represent the five nations of the United States of Central America, namely Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Guatemala.

This flag was adopted on the 9th of January 1866.
