Kingdom of Morocco

The colours used in the National flag of Morocco are said to have symbolic meaning: red for bravery and valour; and green for hope and love. The green pentagram is believed to represent Solomon's Seal dating back 4000 years to the Babylonian Empire, and is also a symbol of the link between the people of the Moroccan nation and God.

This flag was officially adopted in 1956.
