Republic of Slovenia

The white-blue-red tricolour was first used between the years of 1848 to 1918 but was not officially recognised by the Austrian rulers.

The flag as it is known today was officially hoisted on the 25th of June 1991 to mark the independence from Yugoslavia. Official adoption was on the 20th of October 1994.
