Himalayas of Northern India to Northern Thailand and China and can be found throughout the temperate and sub-tropical regions of the world

Palmate, up to 4 feet across, medium green and slightly glaucous underneath

Flowers:-

Small densely packed yellow flowers on 2-3 foot long branching inflorescences

Fruit:-

½ an inch in diameter, round and bluish/purple when ripe

Sex:-

Dioecious, male and female flowers occur on different plants

Pests & Diseases:-

No major pests or diseases

Seed Germination:-

Easily and quickly, between 1 to 3 months
